We founded HINTERLAND at the end of 2024 and hit the ground running. With great doses of good humour, enthusiasm and a commitment to making work happen we delivered 2 fully conceived productions JUSTINE STOPS OIL (The Glitch London) and AM I LOSING MY MIND OR JUST MY FIGURE? (Coronet & Etcetera Theatre) and 1 script in hand performance EAT (The Lyric Theatre Bridport) in 2025. Filming for a screen version of AILMMOJMF? commenced in December 2025 and will continue through 2026. Across all productions female identifying creatives in the mid phase of their lives took centre stage either as actor, director or writer and 70% of creatives in all productions were women. In 2026 we will be taking all 3 shows to more audiences in London and the regions and developing 2 new shows DETRITUS (Bloomsbury Festival) and DIVA (new writing exploring the concept of the gender pain gap)
